On 28 October, DLP participated in Aerospace & Defence Days in Poland 2026 in Katowice, an event dedicated to modern testing solutions for the aerospace and defence sectors.
One of the most interesting points on the agenda was the presentation “Challenges when performing Vibration Testing for Aerospace & Defence”, delivered by Dami Osiyemi from IMV Corporation. The presentation focused on the challenges involved in conducting vibration testing for aerospace and defence applications.
Vibration testing plays an important role in assessing the durability and reliability of components exposed to vibration and mechanical loads during operation. From DLP’s perspective, this was a particularly relevant area of the event, aligning with the development of our laboratory capabilities and providing valuable insight into testing solutions used in demanding industrial sectors.
The event programme also included presentations by experts representing Weiss Technik, MTS Systems, Dantec Dynamics and Ascott Weiss Technik. The topics covered included environmental simulation, altitude testing, thermal vacuum testing, advanced optical testing methods and corrosion testing.
The speakers included Johannes Gundersen, Dami Osiyemi, Sven Sagner, Alexandre Gustave, Oliver Grimm, Dr Tomasz Rusin and Jodie Reynolds.
The event partners included Weiss Technik, IMV Corporation, MTS Systems and Dantec Dynamics.
DLP’s participation in Aerospace & Defence Days in Poland 2026 provided an opportunity to expand our knowledge of vibration testing and other environmental testing methods, as well as to learn more about testing solutions used across the aerospace and defence sectors.
